In an attempt to create a more focused atmosphere on the thread; the professors and I resorted to removing posts that pertained to other stocks other than those in the model portfolio. The reasoning behind the move is that the staff feels that we are on a journey together. We are going to make that journey and are more than happy to take as many people with us as we can. We feel that we are in a position to lead and we have been leading. Structurally the system we have built and are working in is quite sound and extremely profitable. We personally are more than happy to fulfill that role. While I appreciate several posts about a myriad of other stocks that exist out there in the stock universe, it sometimes becomes counter productive if we are already working and supporting a particular play.
While our recent action cleaned the board up rather nicely; it also resulted in a barrage of PM's for the professor's. So much so that it almost paralyzed us. We are very happy to help and that's why we're here. We are trying to set the bar very high and we want everyone to prosper. However also understand scanning, trading, answering posts, and actively supporting the current portfolio plays is stressful and time intensive.
We are sincerely sorry if our actions today upset anyone. Please understand that we're trying to make everyone happy and to also make everyone as much money as we possibly can. We are going to loosen up again on the whole post removal thing. It is my hope that if you are here and trading within the system and doing well then fantastic. Post away. If you are here to advertise then perhaps other boards may be better suited for you for that. Having said that, we'd love to have you here, the more the merrier, and after every day passes I keep telling myself; "You can do better." We apologize again for our growing pains; and we'll see how things go when we loosen the reigns here again.
