You are missing the point entirely. Liable is not saying that there is any shortage of suckers, rather pointing out the abundance of them and how easily they are duped. Whether or not others also see a way to profit from their gullibility is not the message. What is the message is that the biggest suckers will still be buying the stock when the floor drops out from under them. You of all people should know that.
