NM, it's an election year and Bush must act now to help his party. Realizing that his "economic stimulus plan" didn't have the desired effect last week, he now will take the next step: order Ben to make an emergency rate cut. The timing is critical, obviously. Wouldn't you guess it would happen tomorrow morning? I remember an enormous sell-off day in late-July 2002 that was followed by a 600-pt Dow rise the next day. Gold and all the commodities soared the next day, too. I think today is a set up for such an event tomorrow. Just my opinion. Two
