Movie studios, which own the content and earn money from DVD sales will experience a lower costs of goods with dowloadable videos and skipping DVD distribution.

DVD retailers such as Best Buy (BBY) and Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) will be the loosers as DVD sales diminish in favor of downloads. Chip companies like LSI Logic (LSI) which support DVD players will be impacted negatively. Cisco Systems (CSCO), Juniper Networks (JNPR) and Sun Microsystems (JAVA) involved in the manufacturer of communications-equipment could benefit.

Cable companies like Comcast and Time Warner (TWX) and Verizon (VZ) and AT&T (T) will benefit from downloadable videos.
