Doing some DD. It appears to me that the DNC PMP uses technology from two separate sources. First the Micosoft Slideshow. Is DNC claiming to have invented this technology that Micosoft uses in the operating system for Vista? From my reading it appears that this technology has been out since 2005, but Vista did not start until 2007. Is DNC claiming to have developed this program for Microsoft who private labeled it? The reason I ask is that if you go to the DNC homepage and click on the slideshow link, all the subsequent links make no reference to DNC whatsoever. And if you look at the Nvidia link so far, I can't find any info stating that DNC developed this technology either. Nvidia is a publicly traded Nasdaq stock. I'm assuming that DNC sold them the technology and have no rights to it other than royalities for both companies. If that! It could of been a one time deal.
I have a portable pc (laptop) with Vista, my personal/desktop pc has xp as I have not upgraded to Vista yet, and I never have seen this built in device that is shown on the link for Microsoft from the PMP homepage. Until DNC put in on their site I never knew it existed.
On the latest PR, Lott, claims that their are 100 million vista users that he wants to promote the pmp too. Is the pmp, since it is wireless going to be a device that can be hand held and have the same funciton as the device that is shown on the microsoft site via the dnc site? If this is the case, and If I am interupting this correct, with the pmp being wireless, all you have to do is activate it and most likely link it to your laptop and it will give you all the info same as the built in one that appears on the microsoft site via the pmp site?
That would be an awesome device if it can do that! A PMP that is the size of a credit card, and that can access your laptop with out turning on your laptop. And, if this pmp has celluar technology, you can do all this from your dnc cellphone?
If this is true there is not a cell phone out their including the Iphone that can do that yet.
Access your personal pc without turning it on from your cellphone. I wonder if you will be able to do that remotely or do you need to be near your personal pc, (laptop)?
