MH...I know you think consumers want and need the physical product...with the covers, lyrics, etc. and you have a point...the tangible benefits to physical product are important.

However....with Napster..and the ripping that is going on...the "need" to have anything other than the "music" has lessened...and it is considered "smart" to download or have digital...

The websites provide the lyrics, covers, graphics, etc and a much more personal diary, tour list, photos of shows etc...and perhaps they are filling the "tangible" gap....with this infusion of more current info etc.

Wal*Mart has such incredible volume...that if Apple can sell over a million tunes.....in less than a year... imagine what WM can sell....and if it is a traffic generator...all the better.
