BS! As an Intel employee that survived the last two years of h/c reduction (i.e. 99K employees in Q4 2005 to 86K employees in Q4 2007 and more reductions on the way) I would say Intel doesn't favor employees over shareholders. Intel has a delicate balancing act between customers, shareholders, and employees.
