Bold predictions. Time will tell.

I sincerely doubt the doom and gloom picture painted on this board in housing will equate to what actually plays out. Price appreciation may lag and even fall the next two years but not even close to 50% on average. I expect the housing market will see the lows in 2009 and slowly start to once again appreciate. I do not expect a boom in housing after 2009. Rather just a slow steady 5%/year.
