Sorry, don't want you to think I've ignored you. I only look at the boards occassionally. Here is my thoughts on how the older generations stole from the boomers and those that follow after the boomers. A spouse that never paid into SS can collect on his or her spous'es SS. Also when the system was started there were 3 or 4 payers for every collector now it is the reverse.
