så jeg kan ikke skrive mere før i morgen tidligt og der er jeg jo nok faldet i søvn
men bilsalget boomer i europa især eksporten til omegnen og resten af verden så de bygger fabrikker som gale og skal bruge en masse machinetools
selv fls kan vel ikke klare sig uden machine tools
600 Group H1 pretax profit up sharply; sees further progress in H2
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - 600 Group PLC reported a sharp rise in its first-half pretax profits, and said it is confident of further positive progress in the second half.
Pretax profit for the half-year was 1.63 mln stg, versus 345,000 stg a year earlier, and sales rose 10 pct to 41 mln stg.
Its outstanding order book is 18 pct higher than this time last year, said the machine tools manufacturer. Underlying order intake grew 15 pct in the period.
The group's European markets, including the UK, experienced 'significant growth', but 600 Group said that 'North America has shown some softness in recent months' reflecting the current difficulties in financial markets.
There was no further developments announced in the ongoing bid situation. 600 recently confirmed that it had rejected an approach from Precision Technology Group, and it welcomed the Takeover Panel's Nov 29 put up or shut up deadline.
