Subprime is a small portion of the overall mortgage business.

Only 4% of those loans are in default.

The dollar numbers sound huge, but in perspective, they aren't THAT big.

4400 NAZ: I'm not saying it WILL happen, I'm just saying it could happen, and it wouldn't suprise me one bit.

Once the fear is taken out of the markets, they will resume their upward trend.

A 1/2 point cut will help. We need a whole point cut.

A 1/2 now and a full point at the end of the month, and I think that would remove about 90% of the fear in the markets.
