Pengy: I think you're correct on the Quest fittings being better now. It's the old tubing that leaves a lot to be desired. I guess they've improved it since then also. This was widely used in mobile homes. I own one that I rent out and I have had to repair 3 leaks in the past year. The old tubing breaks down over time. I just had to make a repair on one a couple of weeks ago. If it hadn't been 20 degrees with snow on the ground, I would have replumbed the entire trailer. The Quest fittings are expensive. One 3/4"Tee & one 3/4" 90 cost me $18.00. OK that's probably more than you wanted to know. Sorry about getting windy. ~ shao
