Agreed, truly unbelievable. Granted I'd not choose to be in Mr. Hester's shoes at the moment.

I'd be willing to bet the transistor performance gap is a lot wider than the lithography gap. And the lithography gap is probably close to a year depending on how you measure.

Interesting comment at the end wrt "asset-smart" or "asset-lite" or whatever they are calling it these days.
