Global Networks Corp. Names High Profile CTO Who Also Joins Board of Directors
Global Networks Corp. (PINKSHEETS: GBNW) is pleased to announce that Siong H. Chan has been named CTO and will join its Board of Directors. Mr. Chan comes to the company with extensive background and experience in highly secured, client/server technology.

Server-based gaming technology is expected to rapidly replace existing gaming machines and kiosks as casinos rush to make their casino floors more profitable by marrying client/server technology to their traditional business model. The industry is on the cusp of technology change with billions of dollars at stake for companies supplying such technology and equipment. Players in the future will be able to access personal menus and any number of games from gaming machines linked to a casino's central server. Casino owners will be able to customize and model offers, preferences and profiles on their patrons delivering a more profitable customer relationship for the industry and a more rewarding gaming experience for their patrons.

About Siong Chan

Siong Chan is the CTO of Global Networks Corp. where he adds significant expertise in developing and deploying highly secured, transaction-based client/server systems in the gaming field.

After receiving an advanced degree in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, (SFU), Mr. Chan began a long and successful career with MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates, one of Canada's premier computer engineering and consulting firms. During his tenure he worked on several high profile government and private industry projects for the company rising through the ranks through successive promotions to become Senior Systems Engineer in the Earth Observation Division.

In 2005, Mr. Chan joined GDI Software Services of Canada as Director of Information Technology where he began applying his engineering and project management skills to development of systems for the gaming industry. At the time, GDI was just beginning the development of land-based gaming systems that were based on client/server technology, a new and burgeoning field.
