What is holding this up so well is the belief that Axis may land a serious oil concession in North Africa in the near (or perhaps not so near) future. Axis has no assets but has been reportedly working on this deal for just over a year. Some believe that a deal is close.

Secondly, there's no pumping by the company in terms of grandiose PRs. In fact, the company is rather quiet in terms of communicating with its investors. I think there have been 2 PRs in the last year, both having to do with BOD and advisory members.

Third, there is a committed group of investors with strong hands and an equally strong belief that the deal(s) will be done.

Lastly, this stock has largely been below the radar screens of day traders and shorters. Some of both have gone on, but no where like the average pinkie.

Hope this helps, Zagdad. Hope you hang with us for a while. It's a fun board.

GLTA Go Axis!!

My views are my opinion. I'm not a professional analyst. (Neither is Petey, but at least he has an MBA.) You should do your own DD.
