SMART Wet Cleaning Facility Honoured By Texas House Of Representatives

Barrie, ON - Winning Brands Corporation (PINKSHEETS: WNBD) www.WinningBrandsCorporation.com announces that the Texas House of Representatives in the 80th Texas Legislature has adopted Resolution No. 2615 commending the forward thinking and creative environmental approach of SMART Wet Cleaning customer Derba Mills and her chain of professional garment cleaners. The Resolution notes that the solutions used by the chain do not require hazardous waste handling (contrary to the traditional petroleum-based solvents still used by most dry cleaners). The solutions referred to by the Texas Resolution are manufactured by Winning Brands Corporation and distributed to a growing number of environmentally oriented cleaners under the name SMART Wet Cleaning Solutions.

Clothesline Cleaners of San Antonio, Texas has several locations in the city and was an early adopter of solvent-free garment cleaning during Winning Brands' testing phase. SMART Wet Cleaning Solutions and Clothesline Cleaners have adopted an "Open Door Policy" of permitting government officials and dry cleaners to see for themselves how to achieve substitution of conventional solvents in the estimated 35,000 American dry cleaning plants still using Perchloroethylene (Perc).
