A display placed into a high traffic area of the store makes such a BIG difference...... Stores like HD are SKILLED when it comes to "strategically placing" products that EVERYONE CAN USE, for max sales potential.
If you were standing in line and saw the rack (below) by the register, would you check it out? While you were jetting through the store you could have easily PASSED IT (on the shelves)...
Wife and husband... "Maybe that product would get the stain out of our new couch?"... "hmmm, it might".. "Its safe to use around the kids and pets too!"..."Think it might work for the pee stains on little Tommy's mattress?... "It might!"... "Grab one"
Or 2 paint contractors, "Hey boss, you ever try that stuff for paint removal?"..."No, but ive heard of it, lets check one out"
CHA-CHING!
Lets compare the two marketing visuals and remember, Home Depot claims that 22 million people visit their stores per WEEK....
