Edit: I think what is interesting in Obama and Paul isn't so much their electability - Paul doesn't seem a likely winner - as that they rest their arguments on two competing principles. So the debate would be of an aboriginal and constitutional type. Like the ones between the founders. Or communitarians versus the Austrian economists.
McCain stands for a different set of virtues: duty and personal courage being the primary ones. But I think a discussion between him and Obama would be a bit more ordinary. It would surely devolve into an argument about age, experience and Iraq. Relevant, but a political standard.
I agree it is more likely to be the final contest than Obama-Paul.
