Previous drops like this, in the conditions of demand and competition that we know of, have always been followed by a large retrace. There was a steep drop in August (to 22) and a strong retrace followed.

What is mandatory is to be able to buy on days like this. Which means selling on up days. If one has only a small position, then holding to some "full value" price is justified. If, as for me, and also you, INTC forms a dominant part of the portfolio, then selling before full value, and trying to buy lower, is the only way to go.

My lowest buy today was at 22.70. When there is a 50c profit, I'll sell some of those shares, just in case some idiot of a fund manager does a repeat performance of today's dumping.
