Try impressing the wife. We had a blue candle overflow on to an heirloom pink doily. Tried the standard things first. Froze it and then broke off most of the wax. Not much luck. Then we rememberd the Winning colours. Took pictures and started with Boiled it in water to melt the wax out. Still blue and cardboardie. Ironed with paper towels to pick up the wax. Got most of it out, BUT, Still very blue. Boiling probably set the dye. OK, soak in Winning Colours. 10 minutes, scrub and rinse, WOW. Ok try again. After 3-4 applications, her grandmothers doily is back on the table. (BUT no more candles).
