OT> Quick W4 question to the board. I have a relative in SoCal making around 70k annually and he tells me he takes 11 exemptions on his W4. Is he blowing smoke?

I live in Texas, make 125k, wife doesn’t work, raises the two boys, so I file married jointly but only claim 5 exemptions. Am I claiming enough to get to zero? I know I am showing my tail here telling yall what I make, but that kind of stuff never bothered me anyway.
