Well, that's based on the 2006 mid term elections where Democrats won big. Obviously, if that's the way the public votes in 2008, the election won't be close. If you look at previous presidential elections, you see a different pattern. As for post graduate voters, you do realize that this group is disproportionately made up of government workers and public school employees along with liberal academia. For these voters, Democrats do promise more hefty money payoffs.

I'm one of those post graduate Republican voters who is quite proud of never having been on the government payroll (save for military service).
