The illiteracy rate of the Pakistani adult population is 50%!!! That equates to a large group of people who are easily lead/influenced - the same as uneducated people everywhere. The lesser/non-educated person is easy to manipulate and can easily be made to feel afraid and act on their emotions rather than think logically. Some pols count on them to move support in their direction. Sound familiar?
