Bird of Prey, actually "koikaze" means, approximately, love's zephyr.
I adopted the name because of a deep and abiding affection for someone 8,000 miles away who may be more a figment of my imagination than real. It happened when I started writing to a friend, who had lost her husband and had five children to raise, as a way of providing support. For better or worse, I wound up "hoist with my own petard". It was never physical, but the mind is a powerful device. The underlying idea of the name is that my presence can be felt, even if it is invisible.
There, aren't you sorry you asked?
And, I'll be damned if I know why I went into so much detail, except that thinking about it brought the feelings back into my mind quite strongly. (Thanks for asking.)
