These changes are well planned and if it's possible overdue. The MMA audience should be composed of individuals posessed with a knowelege of and an interest in training in the martial arts. The circus act may play but won't cut it over time. Handled correctly, this new format could make the change necessary to lift MMA out of it's current flat spot and into a new phase.
