carrying on with this thread, here's a bio I found on Figovsky, their R&D guy who spoke at a NASA tech conference last month (it's about a third of the way down the page):

Is this good or bad that McQuade and Sinclair are involved with this other firm? Here's my take; Figovsky looks to be the real deal and while there doesn't appear to be any meaningful connection between VYSO and NNRF (other than their management), their association at a management level with Figovsky would only seem to reinforce their credibility. Just skimming the quals of the other presenters at that conference is eye-popping. I don't believe people like Figovsky would take lightly having their reputations tarnished by association with crooks.
