I don't think that Huck is a longshot, and I have serious reservations about serveral of his past statements and positions. That said, anyone independent of the corp interests and the propaganda machines currently calling the shots is a gross improvement over past legislators. If Huck can convey his independence, and his intention not to govern by the rules of fundalmentalist Christianity, he will gain mass appeal -- and has a very good chance of winning. The thing this country needs MOST right now is an abrupt departure from neocon and corp rule. If his message is right, there is the potential to close the Red/Blue state divide as well -- which would also be enormously beneficial to "We the People"... Bush and his neocon controllers have not been "uniters" they have been grossly divisive, and that has been awful for the UNITED States.
