& why on earth would I wanna cheat? There's no need....doin jus fine as it were...+ cheating wouldn't allow me to truly feel good about my results now would it....only attempting to poke some good natured fun here is all....sorry if it was taken the wrong way or I'm coming across as if I'm bent oudda shape in any way.....that's not the case....not at all. Simply havin a lil fun w/your silence w/re to your actuals as it relates to the Oanda padded cell that we are all trading inside of.....lol I saw your #'s last night @ 300% (up in just 1 day from the mid 100's) & of course assumed you had a kick butt day....sorry...sheesh!!! See, there's another reason to have accurate #'s....truth be known, what I was doin was addin approx 40-50% to everyone's #'s cuz that's what it seemed like they were off by....but now from what u r sayin w/re to your recent results from the last day, it seems as if the inconsistency is all over the place.....some may be off by 30-40% & others by more than 100%.....which is even worse...makes it impossible to run a decent competition....or whatever u wanna call it....I guess if you aint doin soo good it aint a competition...lol
Hmmmm, if I dint know any better (& I admit, I dont..lol) I'd say u r enjoyin the added icing Oanda is given you.....as for me, I don't....it's just makes for a lil added hassle in figuring & tracking one's actual profits/losses. & yes, as for me it does matter as I am taking this quite seriously since I truly want to hone my skills here.....thus not knowing or being aware of my results does not help my cause whatsoever....nor anyone else's imo.
As far as gold being a commodity....the way I see it, it's the new dollar as many in biz are now callin it....& imo, it aint so new....it's been that way for quite awhile now it's just that the powers that be in our govt refuse to admit it is all. Labeling gold a commodity is old school & I think that you will find that most in the biz would agree. Thus imo referring to it as a commodity is nothing more than simply symantics...would you not agree? Which is one reason why I think Oanda does indeed offer gold as a trading option....it's really a currency....especially for the rich who tend to use it as a defensive mech.
Whatever...you wanna d.q. (or propose to) me for that reason & the rest of the group feels the same....fine by me....tho u should know that I am not exclusively trading gold.....even stepped outside my comfort zone the last 24 hrs & have scalped some aud/jpy in addition to the other 2 pairs I like....just tryin to broaden my horizons. Not sure why me trading gold has seemingly gotten under your skin as it has? Or maybe it hasn't & I'm simply mis-reading you....which is most likely the case...at least I hope so. No worries...tho if you really wanna make it a rule...I suggest you add that to the competition guidelines for Jan cuz the way I see it...ANYTHING on the Oanda "menu" is fair game. & if you do choose to 86 gold as a trading option I'll simply use a sub-acct to do my "thang"....wouldn't bother me in the very least...again....whatever...I'm as e z goin as they come by....sometimes I can barely find a pulse :0
One final ?.....which Umpa do u wanna be? As for me, I'm an earthtone kinda guy so the one on the left I feel I can relate to the most....+ I'm left handed as well.
