Is anyone else hoping for a push to make ERHC a real E&P?

I am still puzzled by those that want to discuss all the negative implications of this and that. They ask a lot of questions formulated to force negative answers. Why ask a message board these questions? Poster's can't answer them. Why not ask the representative for the company?

Oh, that's right, they might get an answer. They're really not looking for an answer, they know the answer. They are looking for fear and doubt.

Thankfully those emotions can be laid to rest via the same method I suggest they use in the future... ask the friggen company representative!

Anyone looking for direction [at the shareholder meeting] from the Company about what Offor or any other shareholder “is up to” is bound to be disappointed. The only source of information about what any shareholder is up to is that shareholder. The Company has no visibility into any shareholder’s intentions or strategies.

As for the company’s intentions, I can’t imagine how they can be more clear, personally. The company intends to exploit its assets and diversify those assets over time through strategic acquisitions. With limited cash resources, it needs to be careful about how that transpires, but that is the intention that has been articulated repeatedly during the past year. As with the case with every public company, the board of directors would never completely shut the door on whatever possibility that can be conjured up (buy in/out, etc.), because they have a fiduciary duty to explore whatever options are in the best interests of the shareholders. As the company has reported, its focus is on operations and not on all the rumors and speculation that is constantly being generated.
