SG....w/re to your post about folks commenting on the pairs they tend to follow more closely & thus know better....a good idea indeed. As mentioned I've found some comfort over the last few months w/gold, aud/usd & usd/chf & will try to comment when I can.....BUT I can't stress my disclosure here enough (& to the regs out there from the other board I know that by now it must surely sound like a broken record)....in no way should anyone consider what I say as an "educated" opinion.

I've only been consistently demo tradin now since late May....tho this is my 2nd time at the wheel so to speak....the 1st time was approx 2 yrs ago & was for just a short while.....3-4 months...if that long. Having said this, I can say that as far as this recent 6+ month stint goes, each month I have shown improvement over the prior month. & this month I'm damn close (10% away now) to finally baggin a double....tho on the monthly competition stat page at Oanda that's updated every night @ mid est thet say I'm at 136+%.....it's obvious those figures smell b/c simple math says I'm really @ approx 90.5% mtd....I go by Raiderad if ya wanna take a look here.

Like you, I've become an equity Gypsy of sorts...I still of course have my equity portfolio & really don't wanna totally give it up....but when I feel the time is right, I just may liquidate a very conservative % & take the 4x plunge. Truth be known, I find that I am enjoying it soooooo damn much that I've been seriously thinking & thus have done a considerable amount of research on making it a f/t career. I just don't have the kinda bankroll to feel as if I could make a real go of it trading on my own.....& even tho I easily could, I surely don't wanna open up a line of credit to try & pull it off....would rather learn the ropes the right way & get paid at the same time.

OK....sorry for the ramble....I tend to write Moby Dick's from time 2 time in case you couldn't tell...& this one was one of my shorter diddy's :0
