Any update on the contest start date?

Is it starting january 1, or later in the month?

Also, I need to know who wants to work together. I have an idea as to how to increase odds for both of us, and not cause problems between us. Let me show you how.

If there are 10 questions (I'm dropping it from the real 1,000 to show my illustration), and you know 7 of the answers, yet need answers to #4, 7, and 8, and I know 6 answers, and need answres to #2, 5, 7 and 9, then we can exchange, one for one, answers. Think about it. I send you the answer to #4, since I have it and you don't. You send me the answer to #5, since you have that one. Same thing with #8 and #9, going back and forth. We each now have two more correct answers, giving you nine and me eight in this illustration, instead of seven and six. We BOTh raise our point total by two, so we don't gain on each other and don't need ot worrya bout htat, but we Do gain on all the others out there. It is going to be a tough competition, and require a lot of TIME, whch I don't have, so if we share some answers that only helps us both out. Make sense? Hey, no one said in the rules that people can't work together.

Anyway, with 1,000 questions, we may need answers to 30 or 40 that we don't know, and some will be the same one (if it is a tough one) and some will be different ones, so sharing with each other on a one answer for one answer basis will only help both of us.

So, WHO wants to buddy up so we both have a better chance of winning a prize? I'm still happy with second place, as RM will win the car. But, I know it does nothing but help BOTH of us if we team together on questions we don't know and incresae BOTH our scores during the contest.
