Have a nice life in Europe. I'm not sure that I would agree with your characterization that they are predominantly non-Christian, but to the extent that they are, it's a very recent development.

Secularism and atheism, do lead to dysfunctional societies. Drug abuse, children out of wedlock, crime, and other symptoms of dysfunctional societies flourish in non religious communities. I'm happy not to live in Europe. But I predict that the pendulum will swing again.
