stock manipulation
it may not be the company.
scammers find a company that hasn't developed to the point of generating revenue but have an attractive product under development.
They either buy a very large amount of shares before they run their ad campaign (faxes, emails, mailouts, etc.) when the stock price is very cheap and then when they fire up investors with ads and the stock price spikes, they sell at the inflated price. and make a killing.. they sell so many shares that the price goes down and the speculators that saw the ads and bought in and then freak out and dump their shares... Because they didn't really understand the value of the company nor what the scammers were doing to manipulate the stock price.
And/or the scammers short at the top of the spike and buy to cover at the bottom, dragging the price further down and further scaring the speculators who bought in on the ad campaign.
This is par for the course on the pink sheets.
This is speculative investing. No financials, no sales only research and development and the beginning of marketing..
I'll take a chance on FXPE. I want to own this. Even with the interference and disturbances from the scammers....
The management has nothing in their history to indicate fraud.
Moore is saying that 2007 was their time for setting up, and 2008 will be the year for production and revenues. They're right on schedule....
