that may be true for you and me, but I don't think that is true for Broker to broker trades. I can't even make an after hours bid or ask, yet everyday I not only see after hours bids and asks, I see pre-market bids and asks...

If anyone can make an after hours or pre-market order, I would like to know, because If I try it, I just get a message that this option isn't available for this security and your order will be entered when the market opens again.

I mean, what's the point, if it don't supposedly trade in the after hours or pre-market, why make the orders, and why do they show up??? unless it is broker to broker???

Brokers can make deals between themselves, they don't need no stinkin market, they are just using the market to advertise their position in the after hours, pre-hours.
