In melt value.
If it is a copper penny, which is (some)1982 and all older. About 18% of what i get in a roll of pennies is copper. I've been separating them out and keeping the copper ones. SOmeday I'll sell some on ebay. A bag of $50 of copper pennies is selling for about $110 on ebay.
