Interesting point Gibber. I'm not sure about the $1 requirement for the NAS but the price of a company's stock is tied to its ability to finance acquisitions - which is a core component of the company's strategy. Could it be there is deliberate price pressure on the stock to derail or slow down the company's growth plans?

One hates to think these kind of things happen, but you may have heard the story of Whole Foods' president attempting to lower the acquisition price of Wild Oats by continuously putting negative comments about the acquisition target on several bulletin boards.
