I called the tranfer agent and spoke with Kim. (Thank GOD for prepaid phone cards, Warden is a prick, shh.) Real nice Lady to talk to most especially when one uses respect and diplomacy. (hint hint). First thing, they are working on the shares distribution for Hunt Gold Corporation. The surpising thing to me, is that there are one hell of alot more folks in this deal than I ever imagined: "5,000" shareholders as of record..ouch. That means, as I inferred from the pr on 12/05/2007 that it would take until late next week or early the following week to get everyone posted. No wonder!!
If you own shares in Street Name you will get your shares without writing in to the trasfer agent. Where the "numbskulls" get that to put in the pr is any ones guesss. The pr is misleading as far as I can tell (quit it, don't go there). "No need to call until next week (Friday at least)" Kim said.
Another something that concerns me know is PRICE!!!!!! The Volume has been relatively low and the price is dropping. Noone seems to know anyone who has shares to trade, so who is? That is one mf'n good question to me!! Transfer agent obviously had no Idea, nor does Re-org at TDameritrade.
As far as the 25% dividend, it will most likely roll in tonight at midnight, pretty common for it to take and extra 24 - 48 hrs from what is expected.
One other thing to think about. Is that they imply in the pr's that we are getting un restricted shares. So if that is the case Jan 04, 2008 is the day to truly have your eyes wide open! AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. Nothing else to do but wait, keep one eyed peeled at all times... doing time patiently is what I am doing best at this point......
