Diverdan,
I have a Taurus .38 five shot in stainless without a hammer that I have carried due to my work and cash deposits.
Its a little heavy but I feel very comfortable with it.
It is my prefered handgun at the moment.
I had to have the action cleaned up at the local gunsmith but it didnt cost much for the gun or the work and I'm happy.
