I see they already painted the boat and they picked a sky blue color, it certainly looks better that before and for what they will use it they did a nice job.

Normally I don't think you would want that color for the hull of the boat on a deep water vessel working in shipping lanes as it disappears in the waves during a storm. In large storms all you see is blue and white and when the vessel rolls it is all blue one way and when it rolls the other way it is all white.

Since they won't be using it in shipping lanes though and will be more shallow water I don't think this applies.

Way back when I used to help do prep work for painting and there is a paint called red lead that you apply over rust spots that will keep it from bleeding through. We used to chip rust spots with a chipper and then wire brush them down to metal, then apply red lead before the final paint. The hull looked very good in the earlier pic so they probably needed no prep on it but for the housing in the future if they want to paint and keep the paint from streaking they may want to try some undercoat like that. They may have already tried it but just something I wanted to share.

Anyway the boat looks good now, just wanted to chime in my two cents.
