Neuro - I would guess that BPs always have their ways of finding out that type of info about a competitor and I'd honestly be shocked if all of Cortex's competitors don't already know to a detailed level what type of problems Cortex has had with the FDA.

There's no way of knowing and it's all speculation, but I'd guess the real reason for Any Company (not just Cortex) not disclosing any more than necessary to investors is to:

1. Avoid providing ammo for potential future lawsuits.

2. Avoid hurting the share price.

3. Disclosing less info simplifies keeping track in the future of what level of detail is in the public domain, and what is still confidential. It's a lot easier to minimize public info and thus simplify future investor relations.
