I have received many phone calls and emails requesting to donate to the American Lung Association over the years. I in turn, have made many donations. I recently received another of those emails from your organization that prompted me to write you a letter asking for your help to fight cancer.

Your email stated,” We're out to save someone's mother, brother, sister, friend or child; we're trying to prevent the cancer you're at risk for and ease the burden on a child with asthma.” Knowing this, confirms that we are both interested in the same goal.

The email went on to say,” In most patients with lung cancer, the cancer spreads beyond the lungs by the time the disease is diagnosed. This research is focused on the genes that may be responsible for this spread and may help identify new and better treatments.” This is the part that you can help me with to work toward our common goal.

According to your website, your organization was founded in 1904 which would make it 104 years young in our new upcoming year of 2008. While much good has come out of the Association, we still do not have a diagnostic tool with an accurate sensitivity and specificity necessary to eradicate this terrible disease in its early stages. Instead we wait until the cancer is well formed and begins to produce symptoms. We then subject our loved ones to radiation and the use chemotherapy when it is too late to treat it or prevent the spread to other areas. We have all witnessed this terrible suffering of a mother, brother, sister, friend or child because we found the cancer in the late stages.
What if we could diagnose the leading cancers very early, let’s say in stages I and II before they have a chance to grab hold and spread. I am referring to the leading killers such as Lung, Prostate, Breast and Gastric among others.
What if we had a non invasive diagnostic tool that could obtain a score of (0.954) out of a perfect discrimination between cancer and normal samples as a score of 1.0.

In my mind this test would be able to prevent the false negatives that terrify a person for no reason at all. It would be a diagnostic tool that distinguishes cancer from non cancerous polyps and benign tumors with an unprecedented accuracy. One that is more accurate than the current flip of the coin odds currently utilized. In fact I would prefer a diagnostic tool that didn’t require one to wait for more than a few hours to get a true result from.

While this sounds like a pretty tall order to fill considering the 104 years that has past attempting to produce such a test, you as the President and CEO of the American Lung Association have the ability to make this available to all of the families of the world today. You can be the one to tremendously reduce this suffering.

There is a small company by the name of Biocurex that has recently produced a diagnostic test in line with those results above. They can differentiate between cancer and noncancerous cells in the body with unprecedented accuracy and with only a few drops of blood. This has recently been confirmed by a very well known company by the name of Abbott Laboratories.

While this looks to be the magic bullet in the cancer diagnostic arena, that is not good enough.
It is my opinion that Biocurex is onto something much larger than just a great diagnostics tool.

Over the years Americans have donated tremendous amounts of money and time to your organization in hopes that one day we can save our loved ones from the terrible suffering associated with cancer. I believe now there is a tremendous way for the American Lung Association to pay them back. I am asking of you to contact Biocurex to see what you can do for them. They are a small company with a tremendous tool. With the backing of the American Lung Association, Biocurex may be able to fast track this diagnostic breakthrough such that we can benefit from its discovery in the near future.
