LOL. And Why do You trade in pennies? Yes thoses things and worst happen in the pennies. Not all the time and not all stocks. As you so correctly stated, YOU ADMIT THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH DLAV. Here is another take and quite simple. People buy up a great stock expecting further increases in pps. Sometimes they actually buy more shares than should be in the market because Market Makers have the responsibility to provide liquidity(FAILURES TO DELIVER). When some of those people decide to take a profit, the pps crashes and the MMs glide the pps down while removing the added liquidity(FTDs) just like the Federal Reserve. Flippers leave and so does the volatility. The pps settles and the working float returns to reality. MOMO takes over again, with or without news, and the cycle repeats itself over and over again only with the pps settling at higher bases. This happens everyday in the pennies and there is nothing evil about it. It is the markets doing what they do. The same news/prs that traders crave cause most of the pain investors cry about. They praise the Company for the news/pr and then curse them when someone else takes profit before they do. It really is that simple. All the myths and scary things people see in the markets and mostly things invented as excuses for poor trading decisions. We like to be right and we want to blame others. This is our world every day M-F from 9:30am until 4:30pm. It will be what we make it. I chose to not make it any harder than it already is. No matter what myth or reality is happening in any stock, the charts do not lie. You can never trust every poster on a stock board, but you can always trust the charts.
