Thx for the assist there SG.....a simple google search brought me squat...go fig-ya.

This is exactly what I need to study up on....

5 min pip gaps...at the end of a 5 min bar, the next trade is 1 or more pips higher or lower than the previous bar thus a gap is then created. More often than not the pair will move back to close this gap...so of course the larger the gap, the larger the potential profit once the gap is filled.

This is all I have on it thus far & the info didn't come from the Inet so I have no link to provide....which is why I'm lookin for more detailed info on this strat.

W/re to your turtle (usd/jpy) short...it is lookin fairly tempting til ya get out to the 3 hr chart (which depending on your trading style could be totally meaningless)....however after that there's quite a ways to go north if it does bust thru the 112.60's...good idea to lift that target a bit a north of that as you said. However I'm still of the belief that it's a far riskier play these days to go long on the greenback....quite frankly, I'm either always lookin at charts these days primarily for long gold plays or short dollar plays...so shortin the turtle is def the way to go....just be cautious at all times of that infamous frustrated Japanese houswife factor ;)~

As for me...my current trade is a long NZD/USD @ 7834....workin out OK thus far....lookin to tp @ 7848...but if it continues on this trend I may raise that exit pt another few pips....sitten @ 7841 now & it sure didn't take all that long to get there.

GL on that turtle.
