fsprinc, you have to watch L2 closely and see who is on the bid and ask. If FANC is on the best bid and you see a trade go through at the bid price then I assume that FANC just bought that number of shares. If he is on the best ask and I see trades go through at the ask I assume he sold those shares. Hope that helps. It's not an exact science but I believe its accurate.
