FWIW: I just called my local Bass Pro Shop in San Antonio, TX [phone] and spoke to a pleasant fellow in the fishing dept. I asked him about the Banjo Minnow. He said they have it in stock, it's a very good seller, it has gained popularity due to TV advertising, and it continues to gain popularity over time. He said, that, while he favors a couple other products, the Banjo Minnow is very good and there's no fish that won't bite on 'em. He pointed out that in South Texas, unlike the rest of the country, the fishing season is year long. However the fish start spawning in January. Good Luck.
