AFAIK, the company is no longer talking to anyone, the corporate charter was revoked, they've chosen to no longer update the SEC on their progress (or lack thereof), and all operations were moved down to the Bahamas. I'd say you were spot on with that comment!

Interestingly, a lot of the subsidiaries that Welch screwed over are still in business. I was poking around the other day and saw that InMarketing merged with someone else. All the hype of spinoff shares and stock dividends turned out to be just that.
