Now we know why Kip was so tight lipped. He knew he had nothing and therefore could not promise or hint at anything. The question is, why did he bother?

I don't think you were greedy. You were hopeful like the rest of us and at the time it looked like things were just getting started. It's easy to blame oneself for speculation gone awry--but, as always, hindsight is 20-20.

This one will be sitting on my back burner for a long time.
