I have had that fantasy before. You buy a couple million shares of some .0001 stock. You open a new account with another broker, forgetting about that stock.

A year or 2 later you remember it and think "I wonder if it is still there in that account?"

You log into that acct. from a couple years ago and find you have
had 20 million dollars for awhile now!!
