I think I see a pattern...

They also voted the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310 "Smartphone of the Year".

And the "Notebook of the Year" is a Toshiba with a LV Yonah processor.

And WinXP as "OS of the Year"

Maybe they switched all the also-rans with the first place ones (Core 2 Quad, something Santa Rosa class and Leopard) by mistake?
