It concerns me that the iPod may be 25% of Apple's revenues in a few years. What you wrote seems to imply that future growth will mainly come from hub devices, not desk/laptops. That's risky, IMO, because each one will face enormous competition. These things will become more computer like - a Wi-Fi enabled iPod to access the iTMS and you can skip the hub computer. Will Apple provide the OS?

Maybe the exponential growth of PC's is over but there is no reason why Apple shouldn't fiercely compete to grow it's core segments market share, especially in Education where it once dominated.

For the first time, Apple has the back room gear that has an attractive price/performance but it needs top notch sales, service and support. This is a growth area which could lead to getting a foothold in corporate desktops. Going back to digital devices, how about conjuring up one for the Enterprise Life Style - an ePod?
